Zack Snyder may be the man behind the DCEU (for better or worse, depending on who you talk to), having already directed Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with Justice League on the way, and apparently, he likes having a little fun on the sets of these blockbuster epics, inserting himself into the picture.
Cinematographer Larry Fong revealed via Twitter that during a scene in a fight club where Ben Affleck’s bat-hands pick up a cell phone mostly offscreen, the hands actually belong to Zack Snyder. No stranger to making a cameo in his own films, Snyder is also rumored to appear in Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman, which opens in July.
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
