The Batman’s Matt Reeves receives praise from Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins

March 2, 2017 by Samuel Brace

As he settles into the position, director of The Batman Matt Reeves has received words of praise from Wonder Woman helmer Patty Jenkins.

With all the negativity, speculation and conspiratorial goings on surrounding DC’s Batman solo movie, Matt Reeves will be anxious to get on with the job and will no doubt be happy to hear praise directed his way from Wonder Woman’s Patty Jenkins.

Jenkins, who has her own release to worry about with Wonder Woman now only a few months away, is keen to spread the love in this new chapter of DC’s movie making saga.

Responding to a tweet from editor Vahn Gharakhani, who asked if Jenkins had the chance to speak with Reeves, she responded with some kind words, applauding his hiring.

He really is. I'm so excited to see his Batman, and have him in the DC universe. Great choice!

— Patty Jenkins (@PattyJenks) March 1, 2017

This does seem to be the consensus opinion on the appointment of Reeves, so one can only hope that he can get his hands firmly clasped onto The Batman to then produce a movie worthy of the character’s name.
