June 30, 2017 by Gary Collinson

It looks like we can add another returning cast member to the roster of X-Men: Dark Phoenix, with THR reporting that Evan Peters is now confirmed as reprising the role of Quicksilver from X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse.

Peters will also be joined by new addition Lamar Johnson (The Next Step), although details of Johnson’s role is being kept under wraps. He becomes the second newcomer to the franchise after Jessica Chastain, who is portraying the film’s villain Lilandra, the empress of the Shi’ar Empire.
