M. Night Shyamalan gives an update on his Unbreakable and Split sequel Glass

June 4, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back in April, M. Night Shyamalan confirmed that his next film will be the Unbreakable / Split follow-up Glass, and now the filmmaker has taken to Twitter to give an update on the project, revealing that he is starting on his third draft of the screenplay, and expects to have it finished this month.

Finished the 2nd draft of #Glass on Friday. Took 5 weeks. Started the 3rd pass today… gave myself a 3 week deadline for this pass.

While details on Glass are being kept tightly under wraps, we do know that Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and James McAvoy are expected to star, and that it will round out a trilogy of movies. It is slated to hit cinemas on January 18th 2019.
