Entertainment Weekly has revealed that David Tennant is set to reprise the role of Kilgrave in the upcoming second season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, with the outlet sharing the following promotional image of the former Doctor Who star alongside Krysten Ritter…
Kilgrave’s return is somewhat of a surprise give that – SPOILERS – he was killed by Jessica in the season one finale; however, a few set photos have suggested that season two will contain flashbacks, which likely explains his inclusion.
The second season of Jessica Jones is currently in production and is expected to air on Netflix in 2018. Meanwhile, Krysten Ritter will be back as Jessica this coming Friday, August 18th, with the release of Marvel’s The Defenders.
