The Maze Runner director to helm tech drama series Mosaic

Deadline is reporting that The Maze Runner director Wes Ball is making the jump to the small screen, teaming up with producer Joe Hartwick Jr., Chernin Entertainment and Universal TV to direct the futuristic tech drama series Mosaic for NBC.

Deadline reports that Mosaic has been scripted by Christine Lavaf and “is set in a near-future metropolis and follows the interconnected lives of a diverse set of characters struggling to navigate their relationships in the face of emerging technologies.”

Ball is currently in post-production on the third instalment of the Maze Runner series, The Death Cure, which is set for release on February 9th 2018.
