Samuel Goldwyn Films has debuted the first trailer for M.J. Bassett’s long-delayed R-rated action fantasy Red Sonja.
Starring Matilda Lutz (Revenge) in the title role as the She-Devil with a Sword, the film follows her journey as she leads a group of unlikely warriors to take down the ruthless tyrant who enslaved them.
Joining Matilda Lutz in the cast are Martyn Ford, Robert Sheehan, Wallis Day, Michael Bisping, Philip Winchester, Trevor Eve, Luca Pasqualino, and Rhona Mitra. Check out the trailer below…

Red Sonja arrives in cinemas on August 15th, followed by a digital release on August 29th.
