Wonder Woman’s Blu-ray release date may have been revealed

August 3, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Originally published August 3, 2017. Updated November 30, 2022.

The release date for the Wonder Woman Blu-ray may have been revealed by Amazon.

While the DC superhero film is still bringing in money at cinemas, many are already anticipating being able to own the Gal Gadot led movie at home.

Well, if an Amazon posting is to be believed, fans won’t have to wait too much longer as the posting states the release date is September 19.

The report comes via Batman News who are saying that Wonder Woman will find itself available on iTunes digital HD on Tuesday, August 29. They are also reporting the Blu-ray September, 19 release date.

Amazon has since removed the listing in question, but as it is normal procedure to have films drop on digital services slightly before coming to discs, one can assume that the Blu-ray will probably release somewhere around this date.

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman sees Patty Jenkins (Monster) directing a cast that includes Gal Gadot (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), Chris Pine (Star Trek), Connie Nielsen (Gladiator), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (The Theory of Everything), Ewen Bremner (Snowpiercer), Said Taghmaoui (American Hustle), Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In), Lisa Loven Kongsli (Force Majeure), Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead) and Ann Wolf.
