Geoff Johns says early test screenings have revealed The Flash to be the fan favorite of Justice League, new trailer imminent

September 28, 2017 by Jordan Jones

Early screenings of Justice League have been fairly optimistic, and one character in particular seems to be getting a lot of positive buzz. Speaking at the NATO (National Association of Theater Owners) Fall Summit about all of the various upcoming DCEU films, head of DC Films Geoff Johns apparently revealed a bit of fan feedback coming out of the early-screenings of Justice League. On Twitter, Chris Sylvia of Regal films (who attended the summit) shared this:

“Johns sayz [sic] Flash is the collective favorite coming out of Justice League.”

This matches with early rumors, going back months, that The Flash was easily the best part of the film. Judging from promotional footage, the character is definitely entertaining. It will be interesting to see how Ezra Miller compares to his TV counterpart, and how The Flash mingles with Batman, and the rest of the team. Honestly, if he’s so excited about meeting Batman, how will he react to Superman?

Meanwhile, Johns unveiled a new trailer for Justice League at the event, and word from Batman-News is that it could arrive next week alongside Warner Bros.’ big sci-fi release Blade Runner 2049, which also happens to open on the same day as the New York Comic Con launches.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League will reunite Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope alongside J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard (The Danish Girl) as Mera, Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) as Vulko, Kiersey Clemons (Dope) as Iris West, Ciaran Hinds (Game of Thrones) as Steppenwolf, and Julian Lewis Jones (Stella) and Michael McElhatton (Game of Thrones) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
