Rumour: Daniel Craig wants Monica Bellucci back for Bond 25

October 17, 2017 by Gary Collinson

With official news lacking, the rumour mill continues to go into overdrive on Bond 25, the next instalment in the long-running spy series, and Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007.

According to British tabloid The Daily Mirror, Craig is keen to see the return of Spectre star Monica Bellucci, who became the oldest Bond girl at 51 when she appeared in the last film.

Bellucci portrayed the character of Lucia Sciarra, the wife of a SPECTRE assassin whom Bond killed in the opening scene of the movie.

The report should probably be taken with a pinch of salt, given that The Mirror has been putting out a tonne of rumours on Bond 25 – such as Daniel Craig signing on for two films, Beyonce singing the theme song, and the title being Shatterhand – none of which have been proven as yet.

Would you like to see Bellucci’s Lucia Sicarri returning for Bond 25? Let us know in the comments below…

Bond 25 is set for release in 2019.
