Having made his first appearance in the post-credits scene of The Avengers back in 2012, we’re now just a few short months away from seeing Thanos unleashing his wrath on Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and speaking at Brazil’s CCXP, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige has promised that the first five minutes of Avengers: Infinity War will establish the Mad Titan as “the biggest and baddest villain” of the MCU to date.
“You know, we’ve been teasing Thanos since the very first Avengers film,” said Feige. “Remember the end of Avengers, the very end of the movie he turns around in the chair and you realize something bad is coming. We’ve been teasing him for years and the trick is when you tease something for that long you have to deliver. So, within the first five minutes of Infinity War people will understand why Thanos is the biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

Based on the post-credits scene of Thor: Ragnarok, and the trailer for Infinity War, it would seem a pretty safe bet that the next Avengers movie begins with Thanos and his Black Order attacking the God of Thunder and the Asgardians, which probably isn’t going to end too well for Thor and company.

The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
