First images from Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events season 2

December 7, 2017 by Amie Cranswick

Entertainment Weekly has revealed five first look images for the second season of Netflix’s hit series Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events from episodes ‘The Austere Academy’, ‘The Ersatz Elevator’, and ‘The Hostile Hospital’ featuring Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), Sunny (Presley Smith), Carmelita Spats (Kitana Turnbull), Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris), and Esme Squalor (Lucy Punch); take a look below…

“Now that we’re in season 2 — and I think the same is true with the books — now the Baudelaires can start to take some control and try and take more action,” says Neil Patrick Harris, who returns as Count Olaf. “I think season 2 ends up being a little bigger in its scope and scale, but also allows for a little bit of a more fevered heartbeat from our protagonists.”

Season 2 of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events is slated to arrive in early 2018.
