We already know that the third act of Avengers: Infinity War is set entirely in Wakanda, and it seems much of that will be taken up with the epic battle sequence between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Thanos’ forces, as the Avengers make one final stand against the Mad Titan in an effort to prevent him from acquiring all six Infinity Stones.
Speaking to Good Morning America, Anthony Mackie revealed that – as with much of the cast – he was only given a portion of the screenplay for Infinity War, with the Falcon actor stating that: “I got 25 pages, which was the final fight sequence. And I sent a long email, like, ‘this movie is going to be awful, how does this work, there’s no story, this is gonna be the longest fight sequence ever.”
We have of course become accustomed to epic action sequences at the end of each Avengers movie, but Infinity War really seems to be ramping things up in terms of scale and especially stakes, with half of all life in the universe at stake.
