The Monster Squad documentary Wolfman’s Got Nards gets a trailer

July 2, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Despite being a box office bust upon release in 1987, horror-comedy The Monster Squad has went on to become a firm cult favourite over the years, and its rise to cult classic is now the subject of a new documentary titled – naturally – Wolfman’s Got Nards.

The Monster Squad was directed by Fred Dekker (Night of the Creeps) from a script he wrote with Shane Black (Lethal Weapon, Iron Man 3) and follows around a group of kids who bond over their love of Universal Monsters. However, when they discover the monsters are actually real, they have to band together to save their town from Count Dracula and company.

SEE ALSO: Shane Black is interested in a Monster Squad sequel

Wolfman’s Got Nards is directed by Andre Gower, who played Sean, the leader of the Monster Squad, in the original film, and features interviews with the cast and crew, as well as the many fans that have embraced the movie.
