THEC64 Mini coming to North America this October

July 24, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Retro Games Ltd. have announced the news that every North American Commodore fan has been waiting for – THEC64 Mini will be arriving in retail throughout North America on the 9th October.  If this news isn’t enough to make you excited then maybe the new trailer below will…

Designed with Commodore fans in mind, THEC64 Mini is 50% smaller than the original machine (originally launched in 1982) and as well as featuring THEC64 Joystick will also come pre-loaded with 64 games that will appeal to gamers of all ages.  If that doesn’t keep you occupied for long then by adding a keyboard via the USB ports it is possible to access C64 Basic and program your own games.

Games pre-loaded on the THEC64 Mini include: California Games, Winter Games, Impossible Mission II, Boulder Dash, Jumpman, Pitstop II, Speedball II: Brutal Deluxe, Street Sports Baseball, Summer Games II, Temple of Apshai Trilogy, Uridium plus many more.

“We are delighted to be able to bring back some of the most loved retro games ever, on one of the most successful formats of all time”, said Paul Andrews, Retro Games’ Managing Director. “The North American release of THEC64 mini is a reimagining of the classic C64 computer and one of a series of products we have on the way.”
