New update arrives for Tracks – The Train Set Game

August 4, 2018 by Andrew Newton

A brand new update has arrived for Excalibur Games’ and Whoop Group’s ultimate wooden train set construction game Tracks – The Train Set Game.  This latest update introduces new in-game items and controller support.  You can see the new video showcasing August’s update below.

The major part of August’s update is the introduction of controller support.  This has been a much requested feature within the community and the game is now compatible with Xbox controllers. The introduction of this makes the game more accessible, particularly to younger gamers.

New in-game items introduced with the update can be used to create more varied scenery in the worlds that players have created and include model planes, vans and other vehicles, rocks and a wider range of passengers all themed around various jobs.

Finally, there have been a variety of tweaks and bug fixes to provide improvements to the technical aspects of the game.

Tracks is the ultimate wooden train game. Construct train sets without rules and transport commuting passengers. Build the ultimate railway system and then ride it in first person from the train cab.

Players can create their own elaborate sets in free-play mode, or they can take on objectives, such as creating and running a commuters’ system.

The latest update for Tracks – The Train Set Game is available now.
