Annual expansion arrives for 4v1 mobile game Identity V this week

NetEase and Behaviour Digital have announced that they will be releasing the annual expansion pack for their mobile asymmetrical survival horror, Identity V, on 4th October.  That’s not all though, throughout all of October NetEase will be releasing further updates and patches.  This new expansion will feature new characters, a new map and a brand new game mode.  You can meet one of these new characters in the trailer below..

The brand new game mode is titled “Duo Hunters” and will allow two hunters to set out on the hunt for a whopping eight survivors.  A new mechanic of this mode is the ability for hunters and survivors to call the owner of the manor via telephone booths in order to earn points that can be used to buy items that increase their chance of winning.

More characters are being added with different cultural backgrounds, the latest one of which is Wu Chang who comes with a very traditional Chinese story.  Wu Chang is a new hunter character that has two souls, the soul of the White and the soul of the Black Guards have been imbued in an umbrella.  He is the first hunter that will be able to switch forms.

Moon River Park is the all new map with a mysterious story.  This will be the largest map ever in Identity V and will allow players to enjoy a ride on the roller coaster and merry go round in the park.

The expansion will arrive on the 4th October.
