Spidey and Nick Fury enjoy a boat ride in Venice in Spider-Man: Far From Home set photos

We’ve seen very little of Nick Fury over the past few years, but fans of Samuel L. Jackson’s (former) S.H.I.E.L.D. director have plenty to look forward to in 2019. Not only is he set for a major role in Captain Marvel – complete with two eyes! – but he’s also going to make an appearance alongside Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

We’ve already seen some video of Jackson and Smulders on set, and now the latest spy photos show Tom Holland’s web-slinger meeting up with Nick Fury on board a boat on a Venice canal. Check them out here, via Twitter:

Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released on July 5th 2019 and features the return of Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May), Michael Keaton (The Vulture), Zendaya (Michelle), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds), Angourie Rice (Betty Brant), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), Martin Star (Mr. Harrington), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), with Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler) as Mysterio and J.B. Smoove (Uncle Drew), Remy Hii (Crazy Rich Asians) and Numan Acar (Homeland) in undisclosed roles.
