ARK: Survival Evolved celebrates Easter with an Eggcellent Adventure

April 17, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Studio Wildcard is once again celebrating Easter in ARK: Survival Evolved with the return of the Eggcellent Adventure.  This event, along with giant bunny rabbits, will last for two weeks and have players searching for special Easter Eggs that have been scattered across all official ARK maps.

During this year’s Eggcellent Adventure, players will search to collect special Bunny Eggs from the wild Bunny Dodos that appear at this time of year.  These Bunny Eggs can then be used to paint on or used in a special Cooking Pot to craft Easter themed cosmetics, including Bunny Ears Skin, Procoptodon Bunny Costume, Egg Shell Hat, Chick Hat, Marshmallow Dodo Hat and the Chocolate Bunny Club.  Players who paint their eggs can choose to participate in the community egg painting contest where there are three prizes of $100 to be won.

Players can also keep a look out for the Bunny Oviraptors which will drop Easter dino sweets that can be given to your dinosaurs to get random colours.

As well as lots of new items, this fourth annual event will also include all the Easter items from previous years.

The Eggcellent Adventure event starts today and if you want to take part but don’t yet own ARK: Survival Evolved, it is on sale for 60% off this week on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Europe.
