First poster for grim fairy tale reimagining Gretel & Hansel

The first poster has arrived online for Osgood Perkins’ (I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House, The Blackcoat’s Daughter) dark reimagining of the classic fairytale Gretel & Hansel which stars Sophia Lillis (It) and Sammy Leaky (MotherFatherSon) in the title roles; take a look here…

A long time ago in a distant fairytale countryside, a young girl (Sophia Lillis, It) leads her little brother (Sammy Leakey) into a dark wood in desperate search of food and work, only to stumble upon a nexus of terrifying evil.

Gretel & Hansel is set for release on January 31st and features a cast that also includes Sammy Leakey, Charles Babalola, Alice Krige, and Jessica De Gouw.
