The Mandalorian season 2 will reportedly feature “established” Skywalker Saga characters

January 4, 2020 by Samuel Brace

According to a recent report, The Mandalorian season 2 will feature “established” characters from the Skywalker saga.

Now that The Mandalorian season one is finished, its safe to say that it was a big success. Finishing off the season in style with a huge finale, the episode harkened back to key events from the prequel era but could we see some actual original trilogy characters in season two?

Well, according to a recent report by Deadline: “Insiders have hinted that several established characters from the Skywalker saga’s feature films mythology will make appearances during the show’s sophomore season.”

Considering that The Mandalorian is set a handful of years after Return of the Jedi, it’s safe to say that these “established characters” will be those seen in the Original Trilogy of films.

There are a lot of possibilities, of course, but who would you like to see turn up in The Mandalorian season two? Let us know in the comments below and on Twitter @flickeringmyth.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. The series depicts a lone bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
