New trailer for the upcoming MMORPG Swords of Legends Online reveals the Spearmaster

April 21, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Gameforge has released a new trailer showcasing the Spearmaster class for their upcoming Action MMORPG Swords of Legends Online. The Spearmaster is, as the name suggests, an expert with the spear, they are trained and disciplined warriors who take a hands on approach to combat on the battlefield and use engineering prowess and a set of martial skills to turn the tide of battle. You can see the Spearmaster in action below…

The Spearmasters gain their skills from the Spearmaster school founded by the legendary Yuejiang, a tiger-riding warrior who spread her knowledge and skill to a new generation of fighters.  Each of the students who graduate from this school use their skills and spear to defend the land and protect the innocent.

Each class in Swords of Legends Online has two Masteries that can be specialised, for the Spearmaster these are:

  • General: Using their calm mind, extreme focus, incredible speed, strength and agility, the General is a force to be reckoned with. Generals lead the charge with formidable spear skills and strike fear into the hearts of their enemies.
  • Phalanx: The Phalanx mastery puts Spearmasters on the front-lines to distract enemies, tank damage, and protect their allies!

The Spearmaster will be one of six character classes with the others being:

  • The Reaper: Uses a powerful scythe and dark magic to destroy their enemies and assist their allies in combat or they can make use of deadly curses and a variety of poisons as the Assassin.  They can also command blood-magic and custom-bred insects as the Occultist to heal their allies.
  • The Berserker: Causes massive damage up close with an enormous greatsword and is exceptionally well armoured.  They can become a shape-shifting wolf (that other players can mount) and tank damage as the Drunken Master.
  • The Spellsword: A Jack-of-all-trades character that can use powerful magic such as the Qi-powered flying swords as the The Sword Artist Mastery role or use the ancient swordplay techniques in the Bladestorm role.
  • The Bard: Use an elemental harp to cause death with the Dissonance mastery or bolster your teammates with the Harmony mastery.
  • The Summoner: A strong magic user that can summon spirits and faeries for healing with the Nuwa’s Blessing mastery or mythical beasts for combat.
