First look at Leslie Grace’s Batgirl from the HBO Max DCEU movie

January 15, 2022 by Ricky Church

With set photos already having begun to emerge, Batgirl star has jumped the gun on potential leakers by revealing the first official look at her in costume. Check it out here…

Grace shared the first look over her Twitter with a quote from the graphic novel Batgirl: Year One by Chuck Dixon and Scott Beatty. The costume is inspired by the fairly recent ‘Batgirl of Burnside’ run in the Batgirl comics with some influence from the 1966 Batman series where Yvonne Craig played Batgirl.

“I use their expectations against them. That will be their weakness. Not mine. Let them all underestimate me…

And when their guard is down, and their pride is rising, let me kick their butts.”
