Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef to get physical release on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5

April 29, 2022 by Andrew Newton

ININ Games and Rogueside have announced that they will be releasing a physical edition of the 2D run & gun adventure Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef this autumn on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5.  The game will be available to pre-order from select retailers soon and more exclusive editions with special collectibles will be available from Strictly Limited Games.

The Orks of the Wathammer 40,000 universe are creatures that love nothing more than a good scrap.  Whether it is hacking at enemies with melee weapons, using their trusty shootas (guns) to mow down troops or using explosive stikkbombs to make enemies go boom, there is nothing they want more than a Waaagh.

In Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef players take control of an Ork warrior who sets out through the hive city of Luteus Prime on a mission to retrieve his hair Squig (a creature used by Orks for many things, including a living, breathing toupee) from the Warboss Gutrekka.  In single player mode or in multiplayer for of up to 4 gamers, players will choose their Ork class, grab their weapons and fight their way through Humans, Genestealer cultists and even other Orks in order to rescue their beloved hair piece.

Throughout this non-stop, action-packed platformer, players will devastate enemies, annihilate bosses and collect ‘teef’ (currency for Orks) and use these to upgrade their equipment.

Featuring:

  • Enjoy a deliciously absurd story that sees players shoot and smash through the Astra Militarum, Genestealer Cults, Space Marines and other Orks!
  • Play as one of multiple classes, each of which has its own toolkit and playstyle.
  • Choose between a huge variety of weapons spread across several categories, from Rokkit Launchas to Boomstikks. In fact to an Ork, there can never be enough dakka dakka!
  • Feel the power of the WAAAGH and keep blasting enemies to unleash all the anger and gain unlimited ammo for a time.
  • Online and local co-op modes so up to 4 players can blast them ‘stoopid ‘umies’ together.
  • Those wanting to prove they should be the Warboss can battle it out with others in Versus Multiplayer Mode.

Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef physical edition will be available to pre-order soon from retailers.
