Dwayne Johnson reveals when the Black Adam trailer is coming

May 30, 2022 by Gary Collinson

It feels like Dwayne Johnson was still going by the name Rocky Maivia when he first signed on to portray the character of Black Adam for Warner Bros. and DC Films, and while got a few months to wait before the hierarchy of the DC Universe changes, we now know when to expect the first trailer for the movie.

Taking to Instagram, The Rock has revealed that the Black Adam trailer will premiere on Wednesday, June 8th and will presumably be attached to Jurassic World Dominion in cinemas when the dino-sequel opens on June 10th.

“Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the Egyptian gods – and imprisoned just as quickly – Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.”

Black Adam is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise) and sees Dwayne Johnson starring alongside Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz and Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui and Uli Latukefu in as-yet-unrevealed roles.

Black Adam is set for release on October 21st 2022.
