Doctor Who images offer first look at Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson’s Ruby Sunday

December 18, 2022 by Gary Collinson

With the show’s 60th anniversary year fast approaching, the BBC has taken the opportunity to give fans a peek at the future of the iconic British sci-fi series with the release of two first-look promotional images featuring Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education) and Millie Gibson (EastEnders) as the Fifteenth Doctor and his companion Ruby Sunday. Check them out here…

Before we get to Fifteen and Ruby’s adventures in space and time, Doctor Who will return to the BBC in November 2023 for a series of three anniversary specials, with David Tennant back as the Time Lord in the character’s Fourteenth incarnation. Gatwa’s first appearance is expected as part of the specials ahead of a brand new series in 2024.
