Arnold Schwarzenegger hits the small screen with FUBAR first look

February 27, 2023 by Gary Collinson

Action icon Arnold Schwarzenegger is heading to the small screen for his first ever series regular role this May as Netflix launches the action adventure spy series FUBAR.

Created by Nick Santora (Scorpion), the series sees Arnie in a True Lies-esque plot as CIA agent forced back into the field for one last job, only to discover his daughter (Monica Barbaro) is also an agent, and the two have been lying to each other for years.

“Everywhere I go, people ask me when I’m going to do another big action comedy like True Lies,” said Arnold. “Well, here it is. FUBAR will kick your ass and make you laugh — and not just for two hours. You get a whole season.”

Featuring alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro are  Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Jay Baruchel, Andy Buckley, Aparna Brielle, Barbara Eve Harris, Fabiana Udenio and Gabriel Luna.

A CIA operative on the verge of retirement discovers a family secret. Forced to go back into the field for one last job, FUBAR tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action and humor.

FUBAR is coming to Netflix on May 25th.
