The Crown’s Emma Corrin joins Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in Deadpool 3

February 14, 2023 by EJ Moreno

While it took forever to get to this place, we are finally casting for the upcoming third Deadpool movie.

In a tweet from Ryan Reynolds, the actor welcomed the latest addition to the last, the regal and royal Emma Corrin. Corrin marks the first new addition to the cast since Hugh Jackman was announced to join as Wolverine. At the time of writing, there’s no word on who Corrin will play. Check out Reynolds’s tweet below…

New addition to the family! The Deadpool family, for clarity. Which is just like a real family except with less swearing… Welcome, Emma Corrin! ⚔️❤️⚔️ pic.twitter.com/LSobi4AqO9

Emma Corrin is on a roll lately; they not only starred Princess Diana in the fourth season of Netflix’s The Crown, for which they won a Golden Globe, a Critics’ Choice Award, and were nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award, but has also just signed on for a lead role in Robert Eggers’ upcoming Nosferatu remake.

Deadpool 3 marks the first time Emma Corrin has starred in a comic book movie, which will likely take the actor to all-new heights. Teaming with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman on one of the most anticipated movies of 2024 is the perfect way to burst into the mainstream even more.

Deadpool 3 will star Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Emma Corrin. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin are writing the film, and Shawn Levy (Free Guy) is on board as director.

The as-yet-untitled Deadpool 3 is set for release on September 6th, 2024.
