Satanic Hispanics trailer teases Latino folk horror anthology

Dread has released trailer for the Latino horror anthology Satanic Hispanics which arrives in cinemas on September 14th, kicking off the start of Hispanic Heritage Month.

The film see a mysterious man known as The Traveler lead viewers into five scary stories based on Latin folklore from directors Mike Mendez, Demián Rugna, Eduardo Sánchez, Gigi Saul Guerrero, and Alejandro Brugués. Check out the trailer below along with a couple of posters…

When police raid a house in El Paso, they find it full of dead Latinos, and only one survivor. He’s known as The Traveler, and when they take him to the station for questioning he tells them those lands are full of magic and talks about the horrors he’s encountered in his long time on this earth, about portals to other worlds, mythical creatures, demons and the undead. Stories about Latin American legends.

Featuring in the cast of Satanic Hispanics are Efren Ramirez, Greg Grunberg, Hemky Madera, Jonah Ray Rodrigues, Patricia Velásquez, Jacob Vargas, Ari Gallegos, Demian Salomon, Christian Rodrigo, and Michael C. Williams.

Satanic Hispanics is set for release on September 14th.
