Godzilla prepares for a massive attack with new Godzilla Minus One image

September 18, 2023 by EJ Moreno

For the 37th film in the Godzilla franchise, we see the iconic kaiju with one of his best looks ever.

Godzilla: Minus One unleashes a new image of the titular monster as he prepares his atomic breath attack. The film comes from writer and director Takashi Yamazaki, who also handled VFX for the project.

The latest entry looks to reinvent the franchise, following the original film’s tone and story. We’ll see Godzilla take a war-torn Japan post-WWII and toss it into further disarray. If this preview and the trailer (which you can find below) are anything to go by, we’ll see one of the most horror-filled Godzilla films in some time. Check out the stunning new image below…

Godzilla Minus One is slated to screen as the closing film at the 36th Tokyo International Film Festival on November 1st, 2023.
