The winners of the 2024 Golden Globe Awards were announced last night, with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and the final season of HBO’s Succession leading the winners in the film and television categories respectively.
Oppenheimer picked up five awards in total including Best Motion Picture, Drama, Best Director (Nolan), Best Actor, Drama (Cillian Murphy) and Best Supporting Actor (Robert Downey Jr.), while other film winners included Poor Things (Best Picture, Musical or Comedy), Barbie (Cinematic and Box Office Achievement), Anatomy of a Fall (Best Picture, Non-English Language and Best Screenplay) and The Boy and the Heron (Best Animated Film).
On the TV side, things were pretty much dominated by Succession in the Drama categories, along with The Bear in the Musical or Comedy section and BEEF for Limited Series. You can check out the full list of winners including the acting categories below…
