2D point and click adventure Darkestville Castle arriving on Steam later this month

September 8, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Russia based game publisher Buka Entertainment have announced that their 2D point and click adventure Darkestville Castle will be arriving on Steam on the 21st September.  This adventure, developed by EPIC Llama Studios, creates a deep fairy tale filled with plenty of Tim Burton like dark humour.  Watch the new trailer to accompany this announcement below…

Darkestville Castle is an adventure with a blend of puzzle solving, dozens of humorous and outrageous characters and dark ‘gallows’ humour.  Created along the same lines as Monkey Island and the other point and click adventures of the time, Darkestville Castle will provide gamers with an exciting adventure which has already won the ‘Best Narrative 2016’ award at the Casual Connect Conference.

This humour filled point and click adventure features:

  • Point-and-click adventure created in the same vein as Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle.
  • Lots of Tim Burton-esque gallows humor.
  • Funny characters and a charismatic protagonist.
  • Dozens of carefully designed levels.
  • Quirky and trendy visuals.
  • Numerous puzzles.
  • Captivating story.
  • More than 7 hours of exciting gameplay.
  • Violence, horror and death-free adventure for all ages.
  • This Game has been awarded with an Indie Prize as the Best Game Narrative.

If you can’t wait until the 21st September for Darkestville Castle then download the demo from Steam now.
