Scott Waugh, the director behind the 2012 war movie Act of Valor, has lined up his next project, with Deadline revealing that he’s set to helm Outlaws Inc., a fact-based drama about military men turned mercenaries.
“Scott Waugh is one of the smartest and most inventive action directors working today,” states producer Basil Iwanyk (whose name I’d struggle to say with a straight face). “We are thrilled to have him join Outlaws Inc. to make a big, fun, commercial film.”
According to Deadline, Outlaws Inc. is based on a true story from Journalist Matt Potter, which “documents his exploits following a gang of military men, who find themselves without work or prospects in the 1990s, and buy a decommissioned plane to start an international cargo delivery business.”
