Co-op survival horror Dark Hours sets full release with new trailer

October 7, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Piece of Cake Studios has announced that their co-op survival horror game, Dark Hours, will fully release on Steam and Epic Games Store on 23rd October. After a successful period in early access, Dark Hours’ full release will bring fresh horrors to players. Watch the new trailer below….

Dark Hours is a multiplayer survival horror for up to four players that has them take the roles of thieves during a daring heist. When the heist is interrupted by supernatural events caused by an evil entity, players will need to forget the riches and escape with their lives. Players will need to explore their haunted environment and cooperate if they are to survive.

The full 1.0 release will have players terrorised by eight monsters, each with their own abilities and weaknesses. However, players will be able to equip a variety of equipment from a list of more than 50 heist-related items, such as heist kits, hacking and remote-control devices, EMP Holy and Ice grenades, flare gun, entity scanners, GPS trackers, instant cameras and more. There are also over 100 customisation items that players can use to make their thief more unique.

There are more than 12 missions to attempt and an astonishing 60 maps to play through set across five environments, including Auction Houses, Casinos, Museums, Nuclear Power Plants and Cruise ships. All maps will feature deadly puzzles, traps and minigames, as well as four different difficulty levels.

Players will also be able to enjoy a PvPvE mode where two teams of robbers compete against each other, as well as three fun extra games – Golden Rabbit, Curling and Red Light Green Light.

Look out for Dark Hours arriving on Steam and Epic Games Store on 23rd October.
