A mother fights to find her son in trailer for Netflix action-thriller Exterritorial

April 16, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its arrival on Netflix later this month, the streamer has released a trailer and images for the upcoming German action thriller Exterritorial.

Written and directed by Christian Zübert, the film stars Jeanne Goursaud as a former special forces soldier on a desperate search for her son who has mysteriously vanished without a trace inside the US consulate in Frankfurt. Check out the trailer below…

On a visit to the US consulate in Frankfurt, the young son of former Special Forces soldier Sara (Jeanne Goursaud) disappears without a trace. Stranger still, nobody seems to remember him ever being in the building. Sara knows that the German authorities have no jurisdiction inside the consulate, and if she’s forced to leave now, she might never see her son again. Sara moves deeper into the labyrinth of the consulate, desperately searching for her son, unaware of the growing danger of a dark conspiracy around her.

Exterritorial arrives on Netflix on April 30th.
