August 2, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its UK premiere later this month at FrightFest, Blue Finch Film Releasing has shared a trailer, poster and images for the Finnish supernatural horror The Knocking.

Written and directed by Joonas Pajunen and Max Seeck, the film follows three siblings (Inka Kallén, Saana Koivisto and Pekka Strang) as they return to their family home to prepare it to be sold, where they discover a primordial evil lurking in the surrounding forest. Watch the trailer below…

When three adult siblings return to their childhood home, where their parents were allegedly murdered many years ago, their plan is to get the house and estate ready to be sold, but they soon discover a primordial evil is trying to prevent them from doing so.

The Knocking arrives on digital platforms on September 4th.
