A24 shares new trailer for paranormal horror Undertone

January 8, 2026 by Amie Cranswick

A24 has released a poster and trailer for writer-director Ian Tuason’s feature debut Undertone.

The horror centres on Evy (Nina Kiri), a paranormal podcast host taking care of her dying mother, who receives a series of creepy recordings from a couple, which mirror her own terrifying experiences.

Joining Kiri in the cast are Kris Holden-Ried, Michèle Duquet, Keana Lyn Bastidasand, Sarah Beaudin, Seled Calderon and Adam DiMarco.

A podcast host covering spooky content moves in to care for her dying mother. When sent recordings of a pregnant couple’s paranormal encounters, she discovers their story parallels hers, each tape pushing her toward madness.

Undertone is set for release on March 13th.
