Ellada Games have announced that their 2D side-scrolling, action survival RPG, Niffelheim, will be released on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch this September. The hit PC game will arrive on consoles with new content and creatures, including more bosses and special magic items.
Niffelheim takes players to a gorgeously crafted Norse themed world and places them in the role of a brave Viking Warrior who has met his end in battle. Rather than finding himself in the feasting halls of Valhalla, our hero awakes in the world of the unforgiving underworld that is the titular Niffelheim.
Players will need to explore the world battling monsters and collecting resources to craft weapons and equipment before venturing into dungeon-like underworld caves to fight even greater horrors and collect pieces of the mystic portal that will lead our hero to Valhalla.

- Use only the items that can be collected or forged, build shelters, weapons and armour and brew healing potions and deadly poisons.
- Defeat all those who would stop your quest for glory and receive quests from the Death Priests.
- Search the environment for pieces of the portal that will lead our hero to his just reward.
