Adam Sandler dominates the 32nd Golden Raspberry Awards

April 2, 2012 by admin

The Adam Sandler comedy Jack and Jill enjoyed a clean sweep at last night’s 32nd annual Golden Raspberry Awards – better known as the Razzies – picking up a record-breaking ten gongs and winning in every single category as Hollywood ‘celebrated’ the very worst in cinematic achievement from 2011. Only one other film managed to make an impact by sharing two awards with Jack and Jill, but unfortunately for Sandler, it was another Happy Madison production – Just Go with It.

Among Sandler’s honours were both Worst Actor and Worst Actress awards (with his Worst Actor award split between Jack and Jill and Just Go with It), Worst Screen Ensemble, Worst Screen Couple (shared with Katie Holmes, Al Pacino and himself) and Worst Screenplay, while Dennis Dugan was named Worst Director for Jack and Jill and Just Go with It and the former also took home the not-at-all-coveted Worst Picture.
