Animated comic book adaptation MFKZ gets a new poster, trailer and images

September 30, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

With just two weeks to go until its release, a new poster, trailer and batch of images have arrived online for MFKZ, the animated adaptation of the hit French comic book Mutafukaz, which features a voice cast that includes Michael Chiklis (The Shield), Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Jorge Gutierrez (The Book of Life), Dascha Polanco (Orange is the New Black), RZA (The Man with the Iron Fists), Danny Trejo (Machete) and Vince Staples. Check them out here…

The film centers on young Angelino and his skull-and-flame pal Vinz, who live in a seedy tenement in an LA-inspired dystopian metropolis – a burnt-out, gang and cockroach-ridden neo-urban hell. Following a scooter accident Angelino starts experiencing migraines and strange hallucinations, as well as fits of rage-inspired superpowers, as he slowly awakens to the truth of his origins: he is half human and half Macho, a supernatural alien race that is bent on taking over the planet.

MFKZ is set for release on October 11th in the UK and on October 12th in the US.
