Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio to polish Batman vs. Superman script

December 19, 2013 by admin

When Ben Affleck signed on to portray The Dark Knight in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman vs. Superman, there was plenty of talk that his creative input could extend beyond his on screen role and that seems like it could be the case, with Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio signing on to polish David S. Goyer’s script for the Man of Steel sequel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Terrio has been brought in to get the script in shape before filming begins [as] Goyer has been tied up with a number of other DC Comics titles including Sandman.” In addition to his Oscar-winning work on Argo, Terrio’s other credits include his 2005 directorial debut Heights, along with an episode of Damages.

Batman vs. Superman is set for release on July 17th 2015 with Affleck joined by returning Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent / Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), and Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious) as Wonder Woman. Meanwhile, Joaquin Phoenix (The Master), Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones) and Callan Mulvey (300: Rise of an Empire) have all been tipped for roles as the film’s villain(s).
