Bohemia Interactive has announced that gamers can start enjoying the action of Arma 3 for free on Steam. The free weekend starts this Valentine’s Day at 6pm GMT and will run until Monday 18th February 6pm GMT. Not only that, Bohemia Interactive are offering generous discounts (20-66%) on the game and DLC packs during this weekend. A new trailer below showcases the action you can expect to face during this period.
The free weekend on Steam will give gamers access to the entire Arma 3 base game and the Arma 3 Apex expansion content. This means that gamers will have access to 4 massive terrains with a combined landmass of 450 km2, a single player and co-op campaign, training courses, individual showcase scenarios, numerous multiplayer game modes, over 50 weapons to use and more then 30 vehicles to ride in. Participants will be able to carry over any achievements and save games should they decide to purchase the game.
As well as all the official game content there is also a huge amount of free community made content that includes additional content such as weapons, vehicles, gear, terrains, missions and much, much more.
Arma 3 will be available to play for free this weekend and don’t forget to take advantage of the sale on the base game and DLC packs.
