Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! 2 set for release this year

Asterix and Obelix will be making a return to PC and consoles this November in Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! 2. This exciting new adventure will take players into the much loved world created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, 

In a fast-paced 2D beat ’em up created by Microids, in cooperation with Les Editions Albert René, will have Asterix and Obelix take on the might of the Romans once again to free an innocent man from prison.

When the precious gold emblem, the Aquila of Lutetia, is stolen the father of one of Asterix’ friends is wrongfully imprisoned. Fearing for his father’s safety, the friend asks Asterix and Obelix to investigate and so the brave pair of Gallic warriors sets out to Lutetia to discover who the true thief is and free the innocent man.

Throughout this long-awaited sequel, more fearsome enemy bosses lay in wait throughout the adventure and battles will now be much more dynamic and smoother than ever before. Players will travel through a multitude of beautifully drawn locations, from mysterious ancient ruins to the majestic city of Lutetia.  Each location on the heroes journey will be filled with thrills, excitement, humour and, of course, plenty of slaps in the face.  

Look out for Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! 2 will be arriving for Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S and One, Nintendo Switch and PC this November.
