The WB logo might stand for “Warner Barbie” by the end of the Greta Gerwig movie’s run.
Just this past week, Barbie made $1.340 billion at the worldwide box office, which will allow the blockbuster to surpass Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2‘s $1.342 billion total to become Warner Bros.’s highest-grossing film.
The film is breaking records all over the place, as it’s already WB’s highest-grossing film at the domestic box office, taking over from The Dark Knight. The impressive Barbie run also has it as the current highest-grossing film of 2023, with little in its way to dethrone it.
