According to a report over at The World’s Finest, Cooke – who designed the opening titles for the original animated series – will take the design and storyboard lead on the short, although there’s no word yet if this will be a standalone instalment or an ongoing series.

Batman Beyond – a.k.a. Batman of the Future – was created by produced by Batman: TAS‘ Bruce Timm, Paul Dini and Alan Burnett alongside Glen Murakami (Beware the Batman) and followed Terry McGinnis, a teenager who takes over the mantle of the Bat, with an elderly Bruce Wayne serving as his mentor.
