Benicio Del Toro, Justin Timberlake and Alicia Silverstone star in trailer for Netflix crime drama Reptile

August 21, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Netflix has dropped the trailer for their classy looking crime-drama Reptile, which stars Benicio Del Toro, Justin Timberlake and Alicia Silverstone in a mind-bending murder-mystery that could well turn out to be “a real nightmare”.

Reptile marks the feature debut of music video director Grant Singer, who co-wrote the movie along with Del Toro and Benjamin Brewer (The Trust).

The official logline reads that “following the brutal murder of a young real estate agent, a hardened detective attempts to uncover the truth in a case where nothing is as it seems, and by doing so dismantles the illusions in his own life.”

As well as the headline acts of Del Toro, Timberlake and Silverstone, Reptile stars Eric Bogosian, Domenick Lombardozzi, Frances Fisher, Ato Essandoh, Michael Carmen Pitt, Karl Glusman, and Matilda Lutz.  Check out the trailer below….

A mysterious murder. A hardened detective. A truth more dangerous than they could have ever imagined.

Reptile streams on Netflix from October 6th.
