The Wrap is reporting that Outlier and production partner Pathbender have acquired the movie rights to Savage, a graphic novel from creator Jeff Frank, co-writers Dan Wickline and Steve Niles and artist Mike Mayhew.
The graphic novel is published by Shadlowline / Image Comics and tells the story of a mysterious killer who hunts down supernatural creatures and finds himself caught up in a battle between Bigfoot and a pack of werewolves.
James Cotten (La linea) is attached to direct the Savage adaptation, with E. Thompson (Hansel & Gretel Get Baked) producing and Mark Morgan (The Twilight Saga) executive producing.
