It looks like Disney and director Jon Favreau have found their Baloo for the upcoming retelling of The Jungle Book, with Deadline revealing that Bill Murray has signed on to voice the loveable bear in the live-action / CG hybrid.
Murray joins an impressive cast which sees newcomer Neel Sethi starring as Mowgli alongside Scarlett Johansson (Under The Skin) as Kaa, Ben Kingsley (Iron Man 3) as Bagheera, Lupita Nyongo’o (12 Years A Slave) as Raksha, Idris Elba (Luther) as Shere Khan, Christopher Walken (The Deer Hunter) as King Louie and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) as Akela.
The Jungle Book is set for release on October 1th 2015.
