BLEACH Rebirth of Souls coming to PC and consoles early 2025

September 26, 2024 by Andrew Newton

BLEACH Rebirth of Souls, the upcoming new title based on the legendary franchise created by Tite Kubo, is set for release in early 2025.  The game will allow gamers to play as many characters from the anime and utilise their unique skills in stylish swordfights.  Bandai Namco have released a new trailer (see below) at this year’s Tokyo Game Show showcasing some of the characters and forms available, including Full Hollowfication Ichigo.

BLEACH Rebirth of Souls will take players to the universe of the hit anime BLEACH where they will have the opportunity to play as many of the fan-favourite characters, including Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, Yasutora Sado, Chad and many more, the list of playable characters is still growing.  Players will be able to use each character’s unique skills as they fight against other characters in epic swordfights that are reminiscent of those in the anime.  Players will be able to use the iconic Bankai abilities for powerful and unique attacks as well as make use of features such as the Reverse Action and well-timed precise combos that can be used to get them out of a tight spot.

BLEACH first appeared in the Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine from 2001 and ran until 2016 with the excellent anime beginning 2004 and led to the production of four movie versions (including a live action film). The final chapter, Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, has been broadcast since 2022 and brings a new story to Ichigo.  This new Arc features all-new character designs and much more powerful characters.

Look out for more news coming on BLEACH Rebirth of Souls.
