Castle Woodwarf 2 coming to Steam soon

Developer Domo Games’ strategy game Castle Woodwarf 2 is planned for release mid-June on Steam.  The recent trailer (see below) showcases some of the enemies that players will encounter as they defend the city of Woodwarf alongside their dwarven brothers.

In Castle Woodwarf 2 players are tasked with keeping the city of Woodwarf and their dragon safe from the attacks of a variety of different enemies, including evil looking knights, flying eyeballs and ghosts.  There will be three different types of dwarven defenders to help

Players will be able to upgrade their city with different buildings ranging from tents to castles and send out lumberjacks and fisherdwarves to gather resources.

Castle Woodwarf 2 features:

  • 17 Cities (levels) with 15 campaign and 15 challenge modes of playing. Citiy no. 16 provides an endless waves of enemies and city 17 is a sandbox without enemies incoming.
  • 3 different economy dwarf types – gatherers, lumberjacks and fisherdwarves.
  • 3 army unit types – tank, archer and a mage (fireball and heal).
  • 7 dragon upgrades.
  • 25 different types of enemies, including ranged units, flying units and ghosts that destroy arrows plus 5 different boss enemies.
  • 7 types of dwarf house to construct from tent to castle.
  • Gem shop for improving the trees, fish and vegetable or buying expendable special items: bombs, freeze bombs, extra gold, extra life, freeze all enemies, carpet bombing.
